Receiving a Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Practice in 2011 has given Tim the knowledge of a type of facilitation that aids in the creation of "Closed Loop" type systems. All the skills and expertise required to create resilience are already available within community. Harnessing these skills through sophisticated networks is key to stepping people out of the scarcity paradigm of current thinking into a paradigm of co-created abundance.

Wanaka TimeBank
A recent project nearing completion is the implementation of a community time bank. This process has been facilitated by Tim and has been operated by a dedicated group of people from the Upper Clutha and all over the world. The community of Wanaka is made up of many nationalities and the time bank is serving to bring people together with the sense that we all belong.
Following Edgar Cahn's time banking philosophy, we are set for creating a community of equality, where 1=1. Wanaka TimeBank can be accessed here.
Timebank social event is held on the third Thursday of the month at The Creek, Wanaka. Come along to meet other community members that are openly trading their skills for the benefit of the people around them.

Upper Clutha Trading Post
Catching on early in the growth of community trading/upcycling groups on facebook, Tim started this initiative in December 2011 and has watched it steady grow in size and usage.
The Upper Clutha Trading Post is now the go-to place for community members to find or trade second hand goods. Other groups have since popped up around it for other community ventures, but due to the decisive screening process, this group remains spam free and clear for community trade only, easily and efficiently.
Upper Clutha Community Notices has also been started and is steadily growing as the community discovers the group's purpose. The notices will become an integral part of the community as print media usage continues to drop in popularity.

Bitmark Project
Alternative economic and currency system for the global community. The Bitmark Project is a new "coin" based off of the Bitcoin network.
Bitmark developers are creating a transferable design that can be implemented into any online community project, store and forum type website. The idea is to develop a free flowing currency that can be utilised by anyone for global payments and good will donations.
